Anita Jo “A.J.” Wells-Nguyen, 45, wife of Nhan Lee Nguyen, passed away at 2:34 AM Monday April 11, 2011 at the Saint Joseph Hospice Care Center, Lexington.
A native of Montgomery County, KY, she was the loving daughter of Jerry Dale and Reva Jean Wells of Mt. Sterling. A.J. was a graduate of the Morgan County High School and the Morehead State University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Paris, KY, a realtor with Rector-Hayden and was the owner with her husband of the Paradise Café, Paris, KY. A.J. and Lee were married on March 27, 2000 in Hawaii. A.J. had a very strong love for her family, but her greatest love was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom all her faith was stored.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Nhan Lee Nguyen; one loving daughter, Kelly Jolee Nguyen; her loving parents, Jerry Dale and Reva Jean Wells of Mt. Sterling; one aunt, Juanita Adams of Georgetown, KY; two uncles, Donnie Tolson of Summerville, OH and Carl Tolson of Middletown, OH and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dennie and Gladys Tolson and Dillard and Aulcey Wells.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday April 15, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, 916 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Bobby Reed and Rev. Gary Ellcessor. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Thursday April 14, 2011 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Spencer, David Poer, Wallis Brooks, Greg Murphy, Dickie Harris, Logan Murphy, Tam Nguyen and Robert Parker. Honorary pallbearer will be Alex Huynh and Alex Spencer
