2 Weeks after Ubuntu Setup

So far, it has been neat.

I am working on decorating my desktop. I do not want it to look so sleepy and quiet. LOL. I like Mac, so probably I will make it look-like-Mac desktop. My boss said I do not need to do that. Well, we’ll see. I agree with a guy on Ubuntu’s forum that changing the OS is like moving to the new house. I need time to get used to using and staying in my house. I need to decorate it. I need to set up new necessary stuffs for my new house and then, enjoy living with it for ever.

I have not played much with Terminal nor commands much. I need to read more (man, why am I so lazy?!)

I found out the FORTUNES which is so funny and sometimes they are true.

I also got a very beautiful theme for Login Screen which I downloaded from a guy on GNOME art forum (sorry, I forgot his name). I like this theme a lot. Its name is WOLF and there is a lonely wolf in the wild forest; hehe that’s what I want. The background theme is stones. Well, nature and a bit lonely. Non-positive background I guess.

One more thing I feel annoyed is that I cannot change the weather forecast region from Vientiane to Ha Noi/Ho Chi Minh. Sucks! Meanwhile, I can change the time zone. What the heck?!
Sometimes, while I was using Firefox and writing emails in Evolution, my laptop hung. S*t, whatzup?

I need time…I give myself a certain amount of time to deal with this new OS, then I will decided if I still need to keep Window OS or just Linux.
